Garlic Butter Shrimp (prawn)
An amazing flavour combination of garlicky, buttery goodness – so elegant and easy to make in 20 min or less!
Ingredients
- 1 kg shrimp (prawns)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 can soda such as sprite, lemon soda
- 1 bulb garlic minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 tbsp Fresh parsley chopped
- pinch salt
- pinch pepper
Instructions
- Melt 1/4 cup butter in a large skillet over low-medium heat
- Add garlic to the skillet, and cook, stirring frequently, until fragrant, about 1 minute add the shrimp, salt and pepper, to taste
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until pink, about 2-3 minutes; set aside
- Add lemon juice. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until reduced by half, about 1-2 minutes
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley leaves, if desired
